"To save the world, please let me possess you."
On a subway platform that had turned into a disaster zone, a mysterious red-haired girl named Ifrit made a startling request of Lin Fangdu.
Ifrit called herself a "Solar Spirit." She had the power to generate flames and burn everything. After she got her wish and possessed Lin Fangdu, he gained the same power.
Ifrit's request was simple: to prevent Earth from being destroyed by the immense energy of the Sun, they had to find the other three "Solar Spirits" who had also drifted to Yining City as soon as possible, gather their power, and return to the Sun together.
As an ordinary second-year college student, Lin Fangdu wanted to use this unexpected supernatural ability to investigate the case of his parents' accidental deaths two years ago.
Set in the modern seaside city of Yining, Lin Fangdu and Ifrit each have their own goals, but together they will unravel mysteries with their supernatural powers in a suspenseful detective story.
