Luo Jian lives in a remote star system. One day, the news reports that a mysterious palace has appeared on the moon. Soon after, giant insects attack the planet where Luo Jian lives.
Guns, bombs, even nuclear weapons cannot inflict any real damage on the alien insects.
Luo Jian nearly dies in their attack, but a mysterious woman saves him. After she treats him, he recovers and grows stronger, gaining the ability to kill the insects.
But that is far from enough.
The insects are constantly growing more intelligent, their numbers and strength are increasing, and a mighty force is supporting the expansion of their swarm.
To resolve the crisis, the planet's overall technological level must be raised.
