Medical Life: a Village Doctor's Struggle

A passionate young man from rural areas who likes traditional Chinese medicine and cherishes the ideal of "hanging a pot to help the world, saving lives and healing the wounded", embarks on the path of medical practice through studying, experiences emotional setbacks and life hardships, and finally realizes himself and writes his own wonderful life path. The novel takes Changsha (Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan), Zhuzhou, Hunan as the main background, and uses the post-70s generation as the protagonist to interpret the real life of people in the Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Tan areas from the 1960s to the beginning of the 21st century. It is the first local novel in history that uses Zhuzhou, Hunan as the geographical background to describe the urban life in the Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Tan areas. It is the second realistic-themed novel by Duan Xiaolou (Zi Chewuhao).
