On the First Day of Military Training, I Was Ordered to Run Laps

Just before school started, my dad told me that the son of one of his army buddies was an instructor at my school and could look out for me.

I believed his nonsense and happily bought some drinks to go say hello to the instructor.

On the first day of military training, I was ordered to run ten laps around the field for bribing an instructor.
