A Love That Fades? Not a Chance

[Detective Conan] [ShinRan]

Ran! I love you! I love you more than anyone else in the world!

Shinichi... As long as you're all right...

Shinichi... Was it really just to protect me?

Can we still be us?

Author's note: I haven't decided whether the ending will be happy or tragic yet... I wrote this when The Million-dollar Pentagram was at the center of the biggest controversy. Those who've paid attention to the details know that our great detective is truly devoted to Ran, and Ran trusts him completely!! It struck a chord with the hopeless romantic in me!! I think the Ai storyline was there because Aoyama wanted to generate buzz and make the movie a hit! As for ShinRan's ending... well, let's just wait and see! Stay tuned.
