Four young people flee together, setting out to seek the Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers, where the prevailing ideals of the age champion freedom. Legend has it that the valley is filled with rare treasures and secluded wonders. Each of the Seven Sages of Ten Thousand Flowers is a peerless genius who looks down upon the world. The valley master, Dongfang Yuxuan, is skilled in music, chess, calligraphy, painting, medicine, and mechanisms, with mastery of them all.

The four young people drink Huangliang wine, meet Mudan, ride Kunpeng, seek Shaluo, and battle Xingtian. They wander through a paradise, enduring life, death, and love. After one dreamlike trial after another, they must still face the momentous choices of their lives...
