No clueless protagonists. No mockery or questioning of the protagonist’s abilities, and no one inexplicably disliking them. Don’t have random bystanders feel sorry for them, mock them, or doubt them for no reason whenever they do something or show a talent. And don’t have bystanders act like the protagonist is weird just because they’re awesome.
