Great Tang: Winning Wu Meiniang from the Start

Six-year-old Li Zhi is frowning as he wonders how to usher in a golden age for the Tang Dynasty.

The nanny says, “I’ll teach you. I’ll teach you how to make money and write poetry, how to study the natural world, and more...”

Help Empress Zhangsun survive a brush with death, and predict the date of Li Shimin’s death so he’ll take you seriously.

The great clans are all huge landowners. The nanny is here to teach you how to play Landlord.

The aristocratic clans are running rampant, aren’t they?

Start with pinyin, and keep going until you inflate a massive bubble and rip out the clans’ roots.

Set sail on the great voyages and prove the world is round.

Cement roads, wooden rails, iron rails: the Tang has no borders.

Keep it up, work hard, strive forward!
