[Comedy, political intrigue, power struggles, one heroine, no System]
Yang Xuan, an unemployed young man, transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes the emperor of the Great Yu Kingdom. He commands a vast realm, with loyal ministers and capable generals at court: Zhang Liang as left chancellor, Zhuge Liang as right chancellor, and Li Jing as grand marshal...
Yet Yang Xuan never attends court or applies himself to state affairs. He spends every day burning incense. What could be the reason?
“His Majesty’s gone to burn incense again?”
“Sure has. He’s been going every day for half a month.”
“What’s gotten into His Majesty? He skips court, ignores affairs of state, and burns incense all day. Did Buddha put him under a spell?”
“Shh, don’t talk nonsense. His Majesty goes to a Taoist temple.”
