Drunken Encampment

He was a lyricist, but he was also a general.

A lifetime spent fighting northward, a lifetime abandoned, a lifetime without regret.

From a young rebel to a lone loyalist of the Southern Song,

from the clash of steel and warhorses to elegies written on paper.

What I write is not poetry. It is the unfinished realm of a hero.
