Robinson Crusoe

This is a book that is hard to put down once you read it. Robinson lived a simple and unpretentious life. He caught and raised goats, caught turtles, planted crops, dried raisins, built boats, and waited for the savages. Day after day, he spent nearly 30 years like this. Following his footsteps, our reading is not boring at all. Instead, we are immersed in his life, imagining whether we can live in a deserted place like him, simple and wealthy. The author's writing throughout the book is simple and pure, without any extravagance. Even when he writes about the several shipwrecks Robinson experienced and being attacked by 300 wolves, the author's language is very calm and he speaks eloquently without deliberately creating a dangerous or depressing atmosphere. This may be related to the fact that the story is told in the first person, so that we know the ending from the beginning.

Later, his friends took Lu to sail through several storms, and he encountered pirates and was sold into slavery. The description of life on the island is still wonderful. How Robinson built a shelter, built a boat, domesticated sheep, planted grains, weaved baskets, etc., All of which showed Lu's strong hands-on practical ability and wilderness survival skills, his strong patience and his introspective state of mind. My favorite character is also called "Friday" by everyone. He is loyal and upright, and has always been by Lu's side. He has a condensed figure, can run and row very fast, and is a great friend around Lu. He makes Lu happy in his later years on the island. With him, Lu doesn't know how happy he is! The truth learned from this book: Cherish every day of life, love the people around you. God gives you the opportunity to come to this wonderful world, so we should live a wonderful life!
