This book tells the story of Gang’er, a sixteen-year-old girl who is actually Xie Zigang. Disguised as a boy, she travels the martial world and meets Nangong Yixuan, who is rebellious and unruly; Meng Xinan, who seems flirtatious but is devoted at heart; and Song Wenjie, a chef from the Baihua Pavilion whom she brings along by chance, as well as eleven other friends from the martial world. Little do they know that, after each pursuing their own schemes, they will eventually join forces to serve their country. The story concludes with them finally finding the princess who disappeared all those years ago.
