After the Security Guard Got a Shard of Flame

After working so hard to earn a postgraduate degree from medical school, how did he end up as a lowly security guard? In that extraordinary era, how did he come across a mysterious fragment of flame, and how did it change his life forever?

The security guard uses the fragment to gain the astonishing superpower to control fire. But superpowers also change people. On top of managing all kinds of relationships with ordinary people, he must find a balance between his powers and his personal ties. This is an important opportunity for him to grow and improve.

Wars rage between other planets, and frequent planetary explosions cause the basic elements to mutate. By chance, these mutated elements can merge and bond with human cells. Fragments of these elements are produced by shattered planets and the corpses of humans pushed to their limits. When someone obtains a fragment and embeds it in their body, they awaken an ability connected to that element.

This book recounts the security guard’s perilous adventures and growth after gaining superpowers, as well as his journey toward learning how to navigate the real world. The author deftly combines science fiction with the complexities of human relationships to create a story full of growth and emotional resonance. If you enjoy science fiction and explorations of human nature, this book is a must-read! Give it a like and start reading!
