Showbiz: I Asked You to Be Down-to-Earth, Not to Fake a Death

[Reborn + showbiz + comedy + singing god]

(Other shows will feature later, including Back to Field and Become a Farmer!)

Reborn in a parallel world, Lin Luo becomes a handsome young heartthrob. After signing with Jiaxin Media, owned by Yang Mi, he turns into the kind of slacker who’ll lie flat rather than sit up.

Fed up with his lack of ambition, Boss Yang wants Lin Luo to rebuild his reputation and become more down-to-earth, so she signs Lin Yuan up for a reality show about everyday life.

On the show, Lin Luo casually draws a suona as a prop and immediately finds himself at a funeral.

He takes the stage and performs “Xian’er,” establishing himself as the godfather of “death rock.”

Show director: “I can’t stop my legs from bouncing! This song makes me feel like it’s about to send me off!”

Audience: “At first, I didn’t understand the suona’s sound. Now, when I hear it, I’m already in the coffin!”

Yang Mi: “Have you lost your mind? I told you to be down-to-earth, not to play at a funeral!”

After his song goes viral, Lin Luo gets an invitation from the show Masked Singing God. From the start, his performance of “The Brightest Star in the Night Sky” leaves countless viewers stunned.
