The main story follows Rainbow, a nanny robot from the year 2108 who accidentally travels through time to 2010. She is found by Li Xinrang, who is still in elementary school, and signs a temporary contract to become his nanny robot!
Rainbow’s arrival also changes the course of the lives of the protagonist, Li Xinrang, and his friends. They grow through a series of adventures spanning the future, the past, outer space, the War of Resistance, ancient times, and struggles against the brutal Japanese forces and other criminal powers. In the end, these experiences lay a solid foundation for their future work developing safer, more reliable, high-performance robot phones!
The story blends transmigration, transmigration into a book, interstellar exploration, battles against criminal forces, police and crime, school life, and future technology!
The prologue describes the protagonists’ backgrounds and sets up later chapters, in which Li Xinrang grows from an immature child into a sensible, mature, and steady young man. From there begins a collection of fantastical and moving stories!
From then on, Rainbow, Li Xinrang, and their friends travel through the future, the past, and the present, as well as different eras and interstellar regions such as Mars. They help those in danger and use their wits to battle evil forces across many worlds, with the wicked Japanese army at their center!
They also form a group called the City Guardians: Qi Family Army F4 (F5)!
After returning to school, they take on the criminal forces lurking in both the school and society, making a powerful contribution to world peace and well-being!
They learn from the world of books, then face the invasion of robot cats and robot dogs in the future, match wits with the Japanese army during the War of Resistance, and fight interstellar wars on Mars. Along the way, they experience many strange, fun, and dreamlike adventures!
