Tens of thousands of years ago, the ancient gods and the demon clans fought a desperate, last-ditch battle. Years later, the Heavenly Emperor Chihua returned with his brocade robes stained with blood and the Blood Demon Pool, a supreme treasure of the demon clan, all to bring back his fiancée, Feng Chu. Before long, the Blood Demon Pool gave birth to twin lotus flowers, through which Feng Chu and Xinyi were reborn. But the Fox King Xinyi schemed to steal Feng Chu’s divine core, took on her appearance, and moved into the Heavenly Palace. She even demanded that the Heavenly Emperor provide Feng Chu’s heart’s blood each month to nourish her. Just as Feng Chu was losing all hope, she happened upon the Demon God Si Lingyuan. By chance, she formed a bond with the Demon God’s spatial artifact.
Once, to help Chihua secure his position as Heavenly Emperor, Feng Chu had sacrificed the twelve Vermilion Bird bones of her divine clan to create a seal and suppress the ancient ferocious beasts. Chihua grew jealous and framed the Demon God Si Lingyuan, causing Feng Chu to misunderstand him and leave. Later, she learned the truth about the war between the gods and the demon clans. She returned to the demon realm to seek out Si Lingyuan and, with his help, traveled throughout the world to remove the seals from all twelve Vermilion Bird bones. But she never expected that everything had been part of Chihua’s scheme...
