After waking up, Mo Yunyao discovers she is lying in a coffin and has become a ruthless princess feared by everyone. At her own funeral, she takes on her parents.
Her husband’s confidante comes to steal him away, but Mo Yunyao is generous: she sends the woman off to become an imperial consort! Her aunt, the empress dowager, wants to use her as a weapon, but Mo Yunyao is no pushover. She and her husband plot together to break free of her control!
The childhood sweetheart who grew up with her turns out to be the second prince of an enemy kingdom. Still hopelessly devoted to her, he captures her and wants to make her his empress. What a predicament! She can’t bring herself to leave her icy, handsome husband!
Tired of her troublesome relatives, she pretends she is going to kill them all. Her husband gives a sinister smile and summons an army of thousands. “A thousand swords through the heart would be most fitting!”
She says tossing them into an alchemy furnace would be more fun!
Since everyone is so afraid that the two of them will rebel, then rebel they shall! They will overturn the empire and become the greatest rulers under heaven!
