Journey to the West timeline + Primordial World setting + wild imagination + Sui Dynasty history!
The pacing is slow at first.
Cao Cao happens to find a copy of Journey to the West from the future. Who would have thought that after reading it, he would transmigrate into Tianpeng?
From the start, he outwits Yang Jian and befriends Chang'e.
To change his fate of becoming a pig, he takes on the identity of an emperor's illegitimate son in the Sui Dynasty and begins a side-quest sign-in journey.
His first sign-in reward is Dian Wei. He gathers many famous generals from the Three Kingdoms and Sui and Tang dynasties. (This historical mashup will take up quite a bit of the story. It's all about physical strength, with no magic!)
Step by step, he embarks on the path to becoming a Human Sovereign who ascends to immortality with his entire nation.
The Son of Heaven cannot cultivate, so I, Cao Cao, will reopen the path of the Human Sovereign.
He turns Tang Sanzang to his side, striking fear into the many demons with powerful backers along the pilgrimage route.
He helps Ping Xin establish the Underworld to contend with the Heavenly Dao, while establishing the Human Dao himself, creating a three-way balance of power before rebuilding the Three Kingdoms.
He wages war on the Western world. Watch how Cao Cao stirs up the winds and clouds.
