Lord Shaoqing, Please Have Some Tea

New Author, New Book (Only Recommend New Books!)

We should show some love to new authors.

Standalone Mystery Cases, Deduction, Lots of Cases, and No System

Not too much romance. I want a novel focused purely on solving cases.

Seeking High-Quality Historical Romance, No Transmigration, Rebirth, or System

I like food, palace intrigue, the imperial examinations, political schemes, and crime-solving. On Tomato, I’ve read The Strongest Female Grand Secretary Rises Against the Odds; for palace intrigue, Zhaohua Weiyang, Palace Willows, and Deep Palace Strategy: The Tale of Qingzhi; for food, Chang’an Snack Shop (I can’t remember if it was on Tomato).

I’m Hooked on Detectives and Solving Cases Lately. Any Novels Like That?

Looking for High-IQ Political Intrigue

Both the male and female leads are intelligent and strategic, while the supporting characters are loyal and warmhearted.

Any Grand-scale Historical Political Intrigue Novels?

The male and female leads should be smart, not foolish and naive.

Historical Romance and Mystery: Preferably with a Female Coroner

Mystery and Crime-Solving Stories, One Case After Another

I don't want one continuous plot that runs all the way to the end. I want each storyline to wrap up before the next one begins.

Any Good Historical Romance Novels to Recommend?

Highly rated and enjoyable.

Alternate History, Princes Vying for the Empire, and Political Scheming

Preferably Historical Romance with Political Intrigue and Two Strong Leads, Modern Romance Is Fine Too

Both leads should put their own interests first. Ideally, their factions start out somewhat hostile, and they're both rather cold-hearted. The female lead should be one person in public and another in private, with a ruthless streak and plenty of different sides to her. I want a romance between evenly matched rivals who refuse to back down and keep flirting with each other. 😃😍

Historical Chinese Mystery and Crime Stories

The female lead transmigrates and is a cold, aloof forensic pathologist. The male lead is gentle only with her.

Detective Fiction, Suspense, and Criminal Investigation

A novel with no female lead, just a male protagonist solving cases, and a tightly interwoven plot.

Suspense, Deduction, and Crime Solving

Stories with both a male and female lead.

I Want Pure Historical Romance!

I'm tired of transmigration and rebirth stories. I just want pure historical romance.

Short Historical Romance

Preferably a story about a princess regent and a prince regent, or a prince and princess consort who marry first and fall in love later.

Ancient Historical Mysteries and Detective Stories

Looking for books similar to The Assassination of Qin Shi Huang. New ancient-era mystery and suspense novels, please!

Any Historical or Alternate-History Novel Recommendations?

Something like Tang Bricks, New Song, or The Southern Song's Greatest Spy, but it has to be finished.

Any Historical Novels About Solving Cases, Performing Autopsies, and Deduction?

Mind-Bending Mystery and Detective Stories

Looking for books like Forensic Qin Ming: The Silent Testimony. Nothing where the protagonist uses a golden finger to breeze through every case. I want actual crime-solving stories. I've finished Ten Deadly Sins and am following Forensic Qin Ming now.

Ancient Historical Mysteries

Looking for an ancient-era detective novel.

Looking for Stories That Will Really Make Me Cry

Romance, friendship, family bonds, anything is fine, as long as it can make my heart ache. I'm the type who can read tragic stories without crying. Please recommend me something 🙏🙏🙏
