Great Ming: The Greatest Treacherous Minister in History, and I Can’t Kill Him?

In the third year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang receives a memorial accusing Zhang Chengwen, magistrate of Changle County, of wreaking havoc throughout the region.

After going undercover to investigate, he discovers that Changle County is being governed with remarkable efficiency.

The people not only enjoy three meals a day, they also grow sweet potatoes, potatoes, and corn.

Water-powered lathes, sewage systems, and all sorts of dazzling innovations leave Zhu Yuanzhang deeply astonished.

Zhu Yuanzhang: “How is this the greatest treacherous official in history? He’s clearly the greatest prime minister I’ve been searching for all along!”
