It sounds pretty cool to watch, but why does it sound so deserving of a beating? Also, since the protagonist is a time traveler, can't we reduce the protagonist's power if we know the plot? It's like the protagonist is playing, not integrated into the world at all, and the protagonist doesn't need to practice in the whole process. Aren't you afraid that the system will go away and just recycle all the protagonist's things?
