A Rather Strange Pokemon Unite

Yios Island is a mysterious island long rumored to be "a hidden realm at the end of the sea." It hosts a competitive Pokemon tournament called "Team Battle," a beloved event and the dream stage of many trainers.

Hefeng is a rookie trainer. Given his age and experience, he should not have been allowed to enter the tournament on Yios Island. Yet, somehow, he received an invitation. Feeling more than a little nervous, he had no choice but to put his travels on hold and head to Yios Island to compete in a tournament he never wanted to enter.

Meeting new companions matters more to Hefeng. He cherishes the time he spends with his Pokemon.

But... a haughty Zeraora, a talkative Pikachu, and Zacian, the King of Swords, who loves playing pranks...

Why are all his Pokemon so strange? They are not easy to get along with, but Hefeng can only do his best. After all, they are his Pokemon.

Yet in battle, they are incredibly powerful, and taking on two opponents at once is practically routine. Hefeng often feels like dead weight, since his Pokemon are the ones doing all the hard work.

Sigh... He must be unbelievably lucky. But these Pokemon should not be stuck with him, a rookie trainer. They deserve a trainer more capable than he is.

In the end, Hefeng finally understood. The truth was... the Pokemon had chosen him of their own accord...
