Daiyu Ascends to Immortality with a Pocket Dimension

At a seaside resort in the Yan Kingdom, the poison doctor Mei Ying accepted a mission to travel to the island nation and retrieve the ancient treasure known as the Blue Tear.

Her companions on the mission were the people she trusted most: her fiancé, A Di, and her best friend, Yao Ji.

After Mei Ying exchanged the artifact with the other party, she boarded a helicopter and flew away from the island nation. On the way back, A Di and Yao Ji joined forces against her. They stopped the helicopter and forced her to hand over the artifact.

The Blue Tear was said to be connected to the gods and could help its possessor attain immortality. It was a treasure many people coveted.

Mei Ying had no idea the two of them had been plotting to steal it all along. To get their hands on the treasure, A Di and Yao Ji risked everything, betraying the Yan Kingdom and her love.

There was truth in the saying that wealth could turn people against each other. Mei Ying was outnumbered, and rather than let the treasure fall into the traitors’ hands, she triggered the helicopter’s self-destruct system in despair.

The organization had specially installed the system before the mission. In the chaos, she had forgotten to tell A Di and Yao Ji about it. She had never expected to have to trigger it so soon, destroying herself, her beloved fiancé, and the close friend and partner she had known for more than a decade.

But Mei Ying never expected to be reborn in the body of Lin Daiyu in the world of Dream of the Red Chamber, with the treasure still in her possession.

Mei Ying gathered her thoughts. She had been given a second life, and that was a stroke of luck. This time, she would live freely and joyfully. She knew the story of Dream of the Red Chamber by heart, and believed she could change her fate.
