The Story of the Bamboo Grove

When I first read "The Story of the Bamboo Forest", I felt that beneath the surface calmness and tranquility, there were many sorrows hidden. This sorrow was not expressed directly to the sky, but a kind of faint sadness revealed in the lines of the writing. Feiming's novels are a style between prose and poetry. He has both the form of prose and the spirit of poetry. Such unique creation gives his style a unique beauty. However, in this sense of beauty, there is also a sadness that is unique to Fei Ming. Against the background of beauty, this faint sadness becomes more obvious.

Each character in the story represents different qualities and values. Through their experiences and encounters, the authors reveal the challenges and confusions in life, as well as how to choose and act when facing difficulties. The storylines are concise and profound, and each story contains a moral or life wisdom. By reading these stories, readers can gain inspiration and thinking about life. In short, this book is a collection of fables full of philosophy and revelation. It conveys the wisdom and principles of life through the stories of various creatures in the bamboo forest.

This book is one of the representative works of the author Fei Ming. The author's novels are all based on local memories and realism. They combine the influence of foreign literature with the local color, just like making a pastoral flute out of simple green bamboo. These novels describe rural life, with a dilute style, detailed scene descriptions, and rich poetic artistic conception. With condensed and endless charm, they outline a pastoral picture full of poetry and youthful atmosphere in the patriarchal countryside. The novel hides the emotional tendency and highlights the poetic artistic conception of silence. What constitutes the "eye view" of this silent artistic conception is the unnamed language expressed in the work, which concisely and ethereally expresses the intuition and epiphany about nature and life.

"The Story of the Bamboo Forest" is a collection of short stories by the author Fei Ming, which includes "Window", "The Attractive Envelope", "Huanyi Mother", "Patient", "First Love", "A Mei" and many other works. The author's novels are generally far away from reality and social issues, mainly because the author's works are related to Zen thought, and in different periods of the author, they also show different style characteristics, all because of the influence of the transformation of his Zen thought. The main body of each volume is the one who has compiled it, and other essays are listed after the one who has compiled it.

Alas... I'm still not good enough. I just understand the parts. I think it's well written.

This book is very interesting! I especially like the simple yet profound stories in it. It feels like listening to a friend talk about his or her own life. Each character has its own unique charm. The woman in "The Story of the Bamboo Forest" impressed me the most. I was deeply moved by her tenacity and unyieldingness. Moreover, Fei Ming's words are very poetic, and reading it is like admiring a beautiful picture. Overall, this is a book worth reading and I recommend it to you!

It still feels pretty good, but there are some places that are hard to understand.
