In this book, one of the greatest science fiction editors and writers - Jeff VanderMeer - will serve as our tour guide, leading us to deeply understand, review and look forward to the development of steampunk culture, tracing the traces of steam in literature, film, television, animation, fashion, art and handicrafts!
We will start this different-dimensional universe adventure from the novels of Verne and Wells. After the steampunk literary explosion ignited by "The Difference Engine", we will witness the mad artist's ray gun and biological mecha, and dance with the accompaniment of wind-up guitar and goggle-wearing Victorian gentlemen and ladies. Finally, we will take the "Moving Castle" into "Castle in the Sky" and fantasize about the steampunk future in the fantasy world created by film masters such as Hayao Miyazaki!

I finished reading it with difficulty, feeling like I was reading a high school English translation. . .
Several of them can be used, including the meaning and value of steampunk, related elements such as clothing, and the personality characteristics of steampunk-style characters.
It's a very good popular science book. Although I won't remember much after reading it once, I can generally understand a lot.
After memorizing some various nouns, you can pretend to be in front of everyone₍˄·͈༝·͈˄*₎◞ ̑̑.
Um.
Wow, this book is amazing! It took me into a magical steampunk world, where I seemed to be able to see those strangely dressed people and the wonderful machines they created. I particularly enjoyed the imaginative storylines in the books, which kept me immersed in them. However, I kind of hate the villain who is always causing trouble for the protagonists. Overall, this is a very interesting book that I highly recommend to friends who like science fiction and fantasy!
