From the Start, I Obtained the Sacred Qilin Blade: A Knight's Promise

Wang Feng is a struggling web novelist on the Tomato Novel platform, writing under the pen name Godslayer. After a string of bad luck, a series of exploding household appliances sends him packing.

Fortunately, he doesn’t die. Rescued by the ancient divine beast Illusion Light Qilin, he earns its recognition deep in his subconscious and obtains the Qilin Holy Sword.

Wang Feng also realizes that this world is far more complicated than he ever imagined.

"As a writer, it’s perfectly reasonable to take a holy sword and fight my way through dungeons, right?"
