In the countryside, every village has someone who isn’t quite right in the head. People call them the village guardians.
The fool in our village was me.
A master saw potential in me, took me in as a disciple, and pinned great hopes on me. He expected me to inherit his legacy and make White Stone Taoist Temple flourish.
Only after joining the sect did I realize just how heavy my mission was.
The temple roof leaked and the walls let in the wind. That would have been bad enough, but my master was completely unreliable, too.
He did nothing but sleep and eat, and spent all day getting dead drunk. He never took care of anything important.
Fortunately, my three senior brothers kept the sect running in his place.
The eldest handled the money, the second took care of cooking and supplies, and the third made a living by swindling people.
The three of them surrounded me. “Junior Sister, you’re in big trouble. Master wants you to sweep away evil forces, cleanse the world of wicked ghosts, and protect all living beings.”
My master and senior brothers taught me Taoist arts. I’ll repay them with peace throughout the land!
Very beautiful, the writing is really good
A very good no-CP book, but too short. I hope the author will publish a second part of this book. There are too few platforms for such clean and neat books.
It's beautiful, there are so many twists and turns, it's great
