This book touched me very much, especially Zhang Huan's experience. I had just gotten married, so I could particularly understand his longing for his family and his desire to serve the motherland. Just like me now, I also face the problem of balancing work and family. The book also mentioned traditional Confucian ethics, which reminded me that we should also value family ties and family in our lives. Although this book is fictional, it made me think more about family and responsibility.
