"River of Flowers" was published in the 2013 issue of Contemporary Magazine.
It tells the story of the troubled lives of two sisters, Bai Shao and Hongxing.
Bai Shao, whose parents both died, was only thirteen years old when she stuffed stuffing balls into her clothes in an attempt to attract the attention of men. She set a major goal for herself in life - to marry a landlord named Wang Tuye.
She believes that this is what she and her sister Hongxing rely on throughout their lives.
A few years later, Bai Shao successfully married a landlord, gave birth to a son, and passed five tests and killed six generals, but she was dumbfounded. After liberation, Wang Tu was shot, and Bai Shao became a reviled landowner. Who should Bai Shao entrust her destiny to next time?

It took me one day to read the entire book. Through this book, we can see a glimpse of the past era. Under the torrent of special times, everyone seems so insignificant, but everyone lives so tenaciously. Every character in the novel has a very distinct and full personality. There is no heinous villain, but everyone has their own selfish motives, which is consistent with reality.
After seeing Bai Shao's life, I felt heavy and depressed. She is pitiful and pathetic
In the beginning, in order to survive, she committed herself to the king's land. When the wind blew that defeated the landlord, she chose to devote herself to the king's insect. In one revolution after another, the king's insect abandoned her... At the end of her life, she slowly saw herself clearly.
There are many women in the book, such as white peony root, red apricot tree, Yingchun and so on. The torrent of fate rushed towards them again and again. In those difficult years, they were like rootless duckweeds and could only rely on selling their bodies again and again to gain some pitiful support. However, what could those men give them?
I like to look back with this kind of writing. Every bleak time also has rich colors and richness, just like the densely written passwords in each of our memories (only you know it, only life understands it).
What do you think about not being very good? Some people are stuck in the swamp and try their best to climb out. Some people pull others in in order to climb out, going around and around. Finally, the new society saves everyone...
The meaning of life may lie in experience. Just like the line in Westward Journey: You can guess the beginning, but you can't guess the ending.
After reading this book, I feel like I have read the lives of Bai Shao, Hongxing and others. Everyone in Huahe is so distinct. They are not perfect, but they are very vivid. The final writing is really good and very philosophical. Bai Shao has seen through life.
The description of the characters is very vivid and the technique is unique. I like Hongxing, so tough and beautiful, but it is never described in a positive way, readers can feel it. Bai Shao is a realist, with a multi-faceted character, both hateful and valuable, and feels very similar to myself [face covering] Wang Tu, Wang He and other second-grade characters are all descendants of landlords. They have shortcomings, but they truly have more human goodness and kindness than others, and they have more interest and taste in life, which is exactly why they are very popular among women.
Everyone has their own helplessness. Considering the living environment, one cannot simply judge whether they are right or wrong, good or evil. In the end, it is quite a pity that the second-grade coward is so cowardly. If only he could be braver...
The author writes. Very detailed, at that time, the land was the sky, and people hurt each other and fought with each other in order to survive. Everyone lives their long life for their own interests. In fact, people have to become kind in the end, so that we can live well.

I have read a lot of novels with contemporary themes recently, most of them are stories about annihilating all sentient beings from before and after liberation to after reform and opening up. In the long history of history, a person's story is insignificant. Things that people care about so much at the beginning will be slowly forgotten by time after their death.
The characters are extremely vivid and real. It seems to take us back to that era, as if the characters are around us, and we can see the epitome of the era in them. From God's perspective, it seems that we shouldn't and cannot do anything. It seems like this is how it should be, how it should be~
Should I stop caring about everything when I get older? It's me, I won't forgive Wang He and Wang Chong
It is a rare good book that describes the changes of the times and the vicissitudes of the human world. I really read it in one sitting without missing a single thing. Highly recommended
It either exposes or criticizes, or praises or praises different people or things of each era, giving readers a strong sense of involvement and resonating with their souls. It is a good book. There is a comparison between Flower River and Dust Settlement. If you are interested, you can read it!
After reading this book, it is rich in content, simple in writing, and easy to understand. It mainly introduces in detail the events of the two sisters Bai Shao and Hong Xing from childhood to old age. One thing after another, they all endured it. It reflects the desolate and powerless situation of people in that era.
In the long years, we have countless choices, and there are many things waiting for us to do. What we want is different at different ages, but most of the time we spend it in loneliness, slowly savoring the experience that life gives us. This book makes us understand life more clearly.
Use unique vision to show the ignorance, greed and numbness of human nature in the old society. Fortunately, this article did not show us an uglier face.
It tells an extraordinary story about ordinary people like Bai Shao and her folks beside the Flower River. The characters are vivid and penetrating, and the plot is compact and ups and downs. Bai Shao has been working hard for her own destiny. Her brilliance is nourished by people's eyes. Her misfortune is caused by her character. She works hard for herself and her sister, but her efforts end up being inconsistent with her goals. Alas!
Personally, I feel good about it. The author has clear ideas and vivid characters. It's good.
The writing style of this book is real and delicate. The author uses simple words to vividly describe the rough fate and strong character of Bai Shao. The description in the book of "Bai Shao stuffing stuffing balls into her clothes in an attempt to attract men's attention" is impressive, and the innocence and precocity of a thirteen-year-old girl is heartbreaking. This book allowed me to see the helplessness and struggle of women in that era. It is worth reading.
Life is like a pass, and after passing the pass, there is a beautiful scenery. So well written. Thanks to the author for cheering.
The author's writing style is very good, the characters are vividly drawn, and each person has his or her own characteristics. In this long river of time, who doesn't move forward while experiencing it? Who of every aging individual is not alive, and who is not a story?
Life is like a river! Very good book
The ups and downs experienced in a person's life constitute a person's complete "I". It is the pain that "I" has suffered that makes "I" have an epiphany and gradually learn to accept, let go, be indifferent and calm.
After reading this book, my heart felt heavy. It was not easy to live in such an era. This book has vivid characters and is a good book worth reading!
Describe human nature vividly
The writing style of the novel is very comfortable to read and will not get stuck.
It's wonderful, every character is vivid, and the story is fascinating
After reading this, I felt sad in my heart. If you think about it a little bit, even though this life is coming to an end, at least the injustice has been avenged, and it can almost be said that you have gotten what you wanted. I wish I could die in peace...

Everyone's life is like going to the market, and meeting each other is fate, and fate comes and goes.
Let nature take its course
The characterization is very rich and the characters' thoughts are reasonable. It's a great book.
