The three of them have different backgrounds and life experiences. During their school years, they encountered different situations and established a deep friendship through helping and supporting each other.
After graduation, Zhao returned to work in the provincial government office as a leadership secretary. A few years later, he became deputy secretary-general of the provincial government, and then served as mayor of the city where Cai Bo and Ye Jiafu lived. Reader comments
This book is well written and should have a sequel.
This book depicts agency life very realistically, and the characters are vividly drawn. Ye Jiafu's experience reminded me of a saying: "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what the next one will taste like." His experience also reminds us to cherish the people and things around us. Once some things are missed, they may never be recovered. This book is worth reading and I recommend it to you!
I have read this novel many times. There are very few novels that I can read twice. This book's description of officialdom is extremely realistic, interesting and free of negative energy, which is quite rare.
Beautiful and well written.
