The first time I read Fan Xiaoqing's novel, I was very hesitant at the time. I chose this one signed by Fan Zeng among the author's works. This book suited my taste. It didn't have any soul-stirring stories, but only the suffering caused by the ups and downs of fate. I felt pretty good about it.

This book made me see all kinds of life. The struggles and hardships of the characters in the book made me deeply realize that life is not easy. Just like the book says "they are struggling on the journey of life", we are all working hard on our own paths in life. The author's writing is both vulgar and elegant, elegance yet vulgar. I like this unique style very much. It made me understand that no matter how hard life is, we must face it calmly.
