In 2045, strange phenomena appeared in the heavens and on Earth. Countless monstrous beasts launched a massive invasion around the globe, and humanity fought back.
Alongside the beasts, a bright blue orb rose into the sky. Humanity's faith became reality, and gods awoke around the world. Some wielded thunder and lightning, some commanded flames, others controlled the seas or summoned raging winds...
The gods soon drove the beasts out of their own lands. But not a single god awoke in China, leaving the country under attack by hordes of monstrous beasts. Still, the Chinese people refused to give up.
They built a Great Wall of steel along the frontier, formed an unstoppable steel tide with their tanks, swept the land with machine guns, and painted the skies with artillery fire.
But the gods of foreign lands set their sights on China, this enormous prize, and slowly reached out their hands toward it.
Just then, space was torn open and a passage between worlds was opened. A transmigrator from China passed through and learned of the country's dire plight. Enraged, he shouted to the Myriad Worlds:
"China is in danger! All Chinese transmigrators, ability users, cultivators, and System holders, return and protect our homeland!"
