In Shen City, two little kids sat on the floor playing with building blocks.
“Mai Mai, I heard Mom say you joined a children’s acting class. Do you want to be an actor when you grow up?”
“Mm-hmm! That’s my dream. I want to be a big star and act in lots and lots of shows.”
As she spoke, the little girl used both hands to draw a big circle.
“Then I’ll grow up to be a big-time director and cast you in all my productions.”
“Great! You said it, so let’s make a pinky promise.”
“Pinky promise, cross my heart, we’ll never break it…”
The adults from both families exchanged smiles as they watched their children make their promise.
P.S. There may not be much showbiz drama, since this is a feel-good power fantasy focused on Mai Mai. The protagonist’s golden finger lets him transmigrate into the works he directed himself. One female lead.
