The Great Physician of the Nation

Bai Zhu, an orphan taught medicine by a mysterious master, has steadily made his way along the path of healing and saving lives through his own efforts. Meanwhile, the strange happenings around him have grown increasingly bizarre. What if the illnesses afflicting people are caused by zombies, sorcery, and all manner of ghosts and spirits? By the time his prescriptions include Zhuyou healing rituals, talismans, the Thirteen Needles of the Ghost Gate, and spirit-summoning and exorcism techniques, he can no longer tell medicine from magic. It turns out that magic is medicine, and medicine is magic.
