[Urban Fantasy] + [Primordial Era] + [Science Fiction] + [Mythology]

I hope you'll stick with the story to the end. The buildup is a little long, so I hope you'll bear with me.

(A side story to My Senior Brother Is Too Steady)

After the Investiture of the Gods, the Heavenly Way was severed! Humanity's prayers could no longer reach the heavens, and society instead came under the sway of public opinion.

It was all a conspiracy! The reason humanity's prayers had no effect was the Investiture of the Gods!

The protagonist develops his brain and heads to the Immortal Realm to resurrect his beloved. With a special energy at his command, he becomes invincible there. He stands outside the Three Realms and beyond the Five Elements. At last, he discovers why Heaven and Earth were cut off from each other, why prayers went unanswered, and why the mortal world suffered so much.

Since no one is willing to return to their place in the celestial court, then I'll do it! I'll confront the Three Pure Ones face-to-face!
