She was a revered master of traditional Chinese medicine, equally skilled in healing and poison, and able to travel the world with a single needle. Then she was struck dead by lightning.
The moment she opened her eyes, someone framed her.
Before she could even get her bearings, her green-tea younger sister arrived with a crowd to catch her in the act of adultery.
Since her sister was betrothed to the Prince of Zhen'nan, her scumbag father refused to hold anyone accountable for framing her.
In that case, she would force the prince into marriage: “If you don't want her to die, marry me!”
The Prince of Zhen'nan looked at her with utter disgust. “I'll marry you! But five years from now, you must die.”
She had planned to fake her death, take her child, and leave.
After that, they would go their separate ways.
He could marry her green-tea sister, and she could be the world's greatest ghost doctor.
But he held her corpse and wept bitterly, driven mad with grief.
Not long afterward...
He met her again.
This time, his eyes were red as he clung to her of his own accord. His trembling hand caressed her face as he pleaded, “Shuning, be good. Please, show your husband some affection!”
I don't know how I managed to finish reading this book intermittently. It's so fucking ugly. I wonder if I've been deceived and I almost finished reading it [awkward laugh] It's ugly, it's ugly. If you don't know how to write, then don't write [laughing] It's bad luck.
The content is too sloppy, the characters throughout the book are not clear, and the storyline is inappropriately detailed.
Is this the end? It sucks at the end...
