On War: Echoes Across the Multiverse

We seem to have grown accustomed to a safe and stable world.

What if it was all just an accident?

In 1942, as war engulfed the globe and tensions reached a boiling point, a particle accelerator tore a tiny hole in space.

In July 1945, a nuclear test blasted a hole through space.

It seemed like the best of times, but perhaps it was the worst of times.

After the Millennium War, the environment surrounding humanity on Earth deteriorated sharply. Endless war spread throughout this densely populated world...

Ancient empires are awakening. They have restored their beacons and data links, and reactivated abandoned outposts.

The glory of the past and their vast armies of cultivators have given them courage, and they intend to impose their will once more.

The new regimes can no longer accept the existing world order, and together they sound the call for change.

Independent city-states and neutral organizations fan the flames, either reveling in the fires of war or being consumed by them.

The wary lie low in the darkness, watching this farce unfold.

The world is burning, and suffering is mounting.

Yet perhaps it will all change in a world of antiquity that has been boarded...

(An alternate-history transmigration novel about upheaval. The female lead is up to fate; slow burn, with the main story starting after Volumes One and Two.)
