A love that crosses the boundaries of space and species, with tangled fates, love, and hatred.
After an assassination plot failed, Miao Wu, the princess of the Cat Kingdom, unexpectedly crossed paths with the human Lu Xiaoxi. To better disguise herself in the human world, Miao Wu moved in with Lu Xiaoxi under the name Jiu Xiaoqi. As they spent time together, they gradually fell for each other. As the truth about their parents' pasts came to light, they learned why Xiaoxi's father had left.
Xiaoxi and Xiaoqi journeyed to the demon realm, put down rebellions in the Rat and Dog Kingdoms, defeated the beastfolk, and reclaimed their territory. Then came a plot involving Xiaoqi's father, followed by an invasion by the demonfolk. At this most chaotic moment, the scheme of their ancestor, Bastet, gradually came to light.
