A Flourishing World

Lu Jianyi had retired from the Space Administration long ago, but she is forced back to work. Her new mission is to increase harmony in a world where three third-rate novels have merged.

One person, three identities: the discarded empress in a palace-abandonment novel, the Holy Maiden in a martial-world novel, and the prince in a female-led kingdom novel.

She plans to follow the plots carefully, but things take an unexpected turn, and the stories go completely off the rails. The famous “chase your wife to the crematorium” scene in the palace novel happens early. The useless prince in the female-led kingdom novel needs a redemption arc, and she has a whole courtyard of male consorts to deal with. Meanwhile, the Holy Maiden’s story has reached the wedding plot. All the major storylines crashing together is utterly explosive.

Lu Jianyi gives up trying, only to find herself saddled with a whole pile of romantic entanglements.

The emperor in the palace novel is bound to her by the plot. In the martial-world novel, it’s simply the devastating power of being someone’s first love. But what’s going on in the female-led kingdom novel? The male consorts who once couldn’t stand her are all refusing to leave her prince’s manor.

Lu Jianyi is exhausted. Whoever wants these romantic debts can have them. She’s had more than enough of the whole ordeal.

When all three identities are exposed at once, it turns into a spectacular tangle of desperate pursuits and bitter rivalry.
