Your Majesty, the Empress Has Fallen Ill Again!

The Ji family has two daughters, but everyone loves to talk about the eldest, whose gallant bearing and peerless deeds are the talk of the world. Whenever the younger daughter is mentioned, people look puzzled. "I heard she's a sickly thing who could die at any moment!"

Later, the eldest Ji daughter grows ever more dazzling, and suitors come knocking one after another. Meanwhile, the second daughter gradually becomes known as the Ji family's legitimate daughter.

By the time everyone assumes the Ji family's "sickly one" is dead, a frail, ailing favorite consort has quietly appeared in the palace...

The emperor: "It's been ages since I last held my beloved consort's hand. A night of passion is worth a thousand pieces of gold. Tonight, heh heh heh!"

The consort: "Cough, cough... Your Majesty, I think I've fallen ill again."
