The City Guardian

The human race has long been weak, suffering under the oppression of the evil spirits and giant beasts.

To resist them, humanity built one impregnable fortress after another, keeping the oppressors beyond their towering walls. Generation after generation, the defenders of these cities fought to the death, all to protect the countless homes behind them. Lin Zhi, the peerless prodigy of the human race, survived in the guise of a coward. After undergoing transformation time and again, he ultimately stood alone against the evil spirits and giant beasts, protecting billions of humans.
