Marital Betrayal

Three years of marriage, turned into a thorn overnight.

My child was critically ill and needed saving, but my husband refused to help and accused me of cheating on him.

With no other choice, I sold my soul to keep my child safe.

He was Fourth Brother, a man who commanded both the criminal underworld and the legitimate world. Like a poisonous flower that ensnared the soul, he dazzled me, leaving me confused, lost, broken, and disillusioned.

He said, “Other people get close to you just to have your body. I’m different. I want all of you.”

He also said, “A spring breeze stretching ten miles is nothing compared to you. The bright moon and stars are nothing compared to you. The rivers and seas are nothing compared to you.”

In the end, he said, “Everything I told you was a lie.”

I said, “Whether it was true or not, I believed it.”
