Honkai: Star Rail: With This Blazing Fire, I Strike Down All That Cannot Be Severed

[A Honkai: Star Rail fanfic. The title makes it clear that the protagonist is a fire-element greatsword user. The pacing is on the slow side, and there are a few parts that are just the author indulging themselves. Don't read if that's not your thing.] People know very little about these mysterious beings who wander through the stars of the universe. Bound by the limits of their finite understanding, intelligent life can only vaguely sense that the Aeons tread Paths beyond the reach of mortal perception, wielding immeasurable power through some guiding ideal. In the myths passed down from person to person, the Aeons eventually became embodiments of highly distilled philosophical concepts. Those who step onto a Path governed by an Aeon will receive its distant awareness, like a fleeting glance cast across light-years of the galaxy. Many believe this is the only connection an Aeon can have with a mortal. [The author didn't get access to the game's beta, so everything here is based on videos. Don't choose to flame the author, because the author can mute you and then keep using homophones to insult your whole family, and you won't be able to talk back.]
