Waiting for the Light

[Rebellious bad-boy school heartthrob VS cool, aloof school beauty · mutual salvation · both virgins · coming of age]

One meeting six years ago was destined to bind them for a lifetime.

When they meet again, he never expects the little girl who called him “big brother” six years ago to have become so wild. It's only their second meeting, and she already wants to take him to a hotel?

Fine by him!

That night, he waits for her outside the hotel until morning.

The two thought their paths would never cross again, but they reunite at school and become classmates.

She thinks he's a player,

one who goes for girls both older and younger.

He thinks she's a player too, but that doesn't matter, as long as she belongs only to him from now on.

Until one day, he lowers his proud head and asks her, “Rong Qing, what do I have to do for you to give me a chance?”

The girl is just as proud. “Ling Chu, if you don't trust me, why did you come looking for me?”

She is his light, so he becomes her salvation.
