[Male and female leads swap bodies + succession struggle + ensemble cast + political intrigue + no rebirth]
The Seventh Prince has endured humiliation and kept a low profile for seventeen years. The first thing he does when he finally makes a move is send his Shadow Guard to the Sang residence to steal flowers.
Sang Nian finds out by chance and is stunned. “Are you a dog or something?”
But there’s always someone worse.
The Seventh Prince carefully plots his moves and marries Sang Nian, who was supposed to be the Fourth Prince’s consort. The first thing he does after their wedding is expose Sang Nian’s secret identity.
Once they’ve laid their cards on the table, the Seventh Prince clears away the obstacles and joins forces with her, advancing step by step toward the throne.
Sang Nian: “I only wanted to open a clinic and treat the sick. I never expected my husband to work so hard that he’d end up becoming emperor.”
The ending can be expanded a bit more! The title is a bit inconsistent with the ending. The author could have written more about the story after getting married. The female protagonist has medical skills and is very smart. Sang Ji is a bit scheming but has a lot of brains. Sang Yue is one of those vicious female partners. From being brainless at the beginning to taking revenge on the eldest prince with some brains, Ye Xiangyi is so pitiful. I wonder if Lu Xiangyi fell in love with Xiangyi later. The male protagonist is so miserable. He has been hated by Concubine Rong since he was a child and sent people to hunt him down. It is a pity for the fourth prince and the female protagonist. The relationship between the male and female protagonists is not very deep, and there are very few emotional scenes. I feel that if they had not exchanged souls, they would not have interacted. Overall, this book is worth reading. My favorite characters are Concubine Wan and Yu Keqing. 😘😘
The mantis stalks the cicada, the oriole stalks behind, and the seventh prince pretends to be a pig and eats the tiger 😄
It ended so suddenly, but in a good way! Wonderful!
The story is very interesting. I read the book without skipping chapters. I won't reveal the plot. The next reader can taste it for himself.
It's good to watch, but the ending is a bit too hasty.
It's not bad. It's pretty good. That's the ending. You won't tell me whether you agreed or not.
