The General's Wife Has a Little Too Much Free Time

Rumor had it that General Shen Congsi, the mighty commander-in-chief, stood nine feet tall.

He could kill a tiger with one hand and lift a massive boulder with both.

His face was so hideous and fierce, like a tiger’s, that he could scare children into tears.

Some even said he was cursed with ill fortune, bringing death to his father and wife.

Others claimed he flouted convention and had a daughter out of wedlock.

Cheng Yangyang listened nearby, clicking her tongue in amazement. “His future wife is really going to have a rough time!”

Jia Jia, standing beside her, twitched at the corner of her mouth. “Miss, just asking, but could his future wife possibly be you?”

Cheng Yangyang: So I’m the joke here?
