"Lantian Girl" is a long martial arts novel written by Zhao Huanting, a novelist in the Republic of China.
The work is set in Tianjin, and is based on the real-life stories of Lan Li and Lan Tian during the Kangxi Dynasty. It elaborates and exaggerates the stories passed down by the people orally, and adds Lan Yuanhua as the protagonist to interpret a tortuous and moving story of a chivalrous woman.
During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, Zhangpu, Fujian Province was hit by floods. The squire Lan Weng poured money into building embankments, which was very popular among the people. However, he was blackmailed and blocked by traitors and villains.
Later, although the embankment was completed, Lan Weng was plotted and died unjustly in prison.
Lan Weng has a daughter and three sons, all of whom have been fond of martial arts since childhood.
The female name is Yuanhua, that is, the heroine of Lantian. She is beautiful, intelligent, and hates evil as much as she hates evil. In his early years, he went to Quanzhou with his father to offer incense in a ditch. While staying in a hotel for the night, he met an evil thief who wanted to rape the female innkeeper. Yuan Hua hurt the thief's eyes with flying rocks. The shopkeeper was grateful for being rescued and led Yuan Hua to Haichao Temple to teach the nun Xinghan, but she was not accepted.
Later, Yuanhua's fiancé and his family were murdered by bandits, and Toushi's ambition for revenge became even stronger.
Xinghan first ordered her to work as a handyman for three years, and then took her to a secluded place in Wugong Mountain. She also sat in meditation in a stone room for three years, making her work hard and eliminate all worldly thoughts. Then he taught her the hard and soft skills of Shaolin and Wudang schools.
Her three younger brothers joined the township league at home and also developed skills.
Yuanhua's disciples went down the mountain to punish the evil and eliminate the enemies. After that, he secretly helped his brother to complete his great work.
In the end, Lan Li and other officials were promoted to nobility, and returned to their hometown in honor to revive their family reputation. However, Yuan Hua left a letter and retired, traveling in the mountains and swamps...

This book is so wonderful! I especially like the heroine Lantian in the book. Not only is she beautiful, she also hates evil. She is so powerful! She blinded evil thieves with flying stones, and helped her brothers develop skills to punish evil and promote good. And the author's description is very vivid, it feels like watching a movie. I want to recommend this book to my friends and experience the charm of martial arts together!
