The Little Seaweed in Jujutsu Kaisen

In his first year of middle school, Kirihara is still the brash, carefree “first-year ace, Akaya Kirihara” of Rikkai University’s tennis club. He has no idea that Captain Yukimura is hiding an illness, and is still a little seaweed-haired kid sheltered by his “parents.”

During spring break in his first year of middle school, with no upperclassmen keeping an eye on him, the little seaweed-haired kid completely forgets about his homework. All he does every day is play tennis and video games. One day, after Yanagi shows up for a surprise inspection, Kirihara stands dejectedly outside the arcade with his tennis racket on his back. He’s sternly warned not to go inside, and his allowance and game console are confiscated. With a heavy sigh, he can only leave a lonely silhouette beneath the setting sun.

When he wakes up again, all he remembers is sitting on a park bench, missing his game console. How did he end up here...?

This is my first story, just something I’m writing for myself. Characters may be out of character.

The pacing is fairly slow, with lots of everyday moments.

I’ll be revising it repeatedly.

So far, the story has reached Detective Conan, Naruto, and Tokyo Ghoul.
