Mad Prince, Please Behave Yourself

Prince Xuan, Tuoba Yan, is the ruler of Beining. Cold and cruel by nature, he is a man whose very name inspires fear.

The first time she met him, she panicked and tried to hide, only for him to seize her by the throat.

“You’re quite pretty.”

He looked at her with a faint, unreadable smile, his voice cool and indifferent.

Her best friend had tricked her into entering the prince’s manor to compete for his favor, then personally delivered her to Prince Xuan’s bed. But when she grew jealous of the prince’s affection for her, their friendship turned into bitter enmity.

At first, Prince Xuan only wanted to watch her beg him to take her into his household. He never imagined that his own heart would end up swaying with hers.

Seeing her carry on with her life as usual, he lost patience. He had her forcibly brought into his manor and kept within ten paces of him.

She struggled and fought back, but it was all in vain. To escape the manor, her prison, she set aside her pride and abandoned her kindness, pretending to be frail and pitiful, using seduction, sowing discord, and resorting to every trick in the book.

“Do you really think you can escape my grasp?”

“My lord, your palm is too small to hold me.”

The coldness in her expression had replaced the pitiful look she once wore.

He thought, So having someone powerful backing her really does make a difference.

If he destroyed what she relied on, how long could she keep acting so brazenly? Surely she would come crawling back to him before long.
