Li Sha, a poor student back in school, gets a job in the general affairs department of Tianhe Culture and Tourism, a municipal state-owned enterprise, through her aunt’s connections. After her mentor An Xin leaves, she is “forced” to grow from someone who just wants to lie flat into a capable employee who can handle things on her own, earning a place at the company through her own hard work. After leaving her job, getting divorced, and starting a business, An Xin finally makes peace with herself too, loosening up and doing what she loves.
